Ho un LCD esterno collegato con suse 10.3 ma ho diversi problemi.
Se utilizzo la combinazioni di tasti del portatile per spostare lo schermo verso LCD esterno non accade nulla, o meglio la schermata e' gia' duplicata nell LCD esterno non appena collego LCD al portatile. Poi, se vado nel pannello di KDE e chiedi di identificare gli schermi mi dice che entrambi sono lo schermo 2 (quindi lo schermo e' duplicato sull' LCD). Se avvio il comando sax2 -r, mi ripristina la configurazione ma, se ho LCD collegato (che e' un 19 alla risol 1280x1024) sax configura quella risoluzione mostrandomi correttamente la schermata sull'LCD, mentre sullo schermo del portatile (un 14" 1024x768) la risoluzione appare impostata a 1280 e mi taglia via (ovviamente) 3/4 della schermata. Se inveve avvio sax2 -r senza LCD collegato mi da errore che dovrebbe essere questo (tratto da /var/log/sax.log):

non so proprio come fare per utilizzare correttamente entrambi gli schermi, magari come schermo principale LCD oppure come estensione o come duplicato (sempre se le risoluzioni vengono impostate secondo lo schermo).
