problemi con quickplay!

Sono in possesso da gennaio di un hp dv6162ea... praticamente ho dovuto formattare il computer subito dopo acquistato, purtroppo non avevo ancora fatto i cd di ripristino. Quindi dopo aver installato sistema operativo e driver, mi accorgo che la funzione di avvio di quickplay non funziona, ho scaricato il programma, l'ho installato, da windows funziona correttamente, ma quando provo ad avviarlo a computer spento, si accende ma parte windows! Leggendo un pò in giro, ho capito che per ripristinare quickplay devo essere in possesso del cd, dopo aver installato il sistema operativo e creato una partizione , appunto per quickplay, bisogno far avviare il computer da cd (in questo caso il cd di quickplay), a questo punto credo che si aprirà un utility di quickplay per installare la funzione di avvio (credo!!) Il problema dove sta? che non sono in possesso del cd di quickplay e soprattutto che questo benedetto cd non si trova da nessuna parte neanche a pagare!!! sono in possesso soltanto del programma scaricato da internet, ma purtroppo non so come fare per farlo diventare un cd d'avvio, ho provato in due modi con esito negativo!! qualcuno potrebbe aiutarmi a risolvere questo problema?? grazie!!

Ciao, la cosa interessa anche a me ed è praticamente da 10 giorni che provo ad installare sto benedetto quickplay 2.3, ma senza successo.
Ho trovato la guida che dice come si fa, ma la mia conoscenza dell'inglese non me la fa mettere in pratica.
Ti allego qui la soluzione su come fare e inserisco alcuni link a siti (stranieri ovviamente) dove ne parlano e raggiungono lo scopo.

As it was before I screwed it up by deleting the QP partition without researching it first, I now have a 1027.6MB partition of Type D7 (according to an old version of Partition Magic Pro), and am able to boot directly into QuickPlay Direct 2.3.

I'll condense the instructions into one post, as things stand now (eventually we'll hopefully get the full package hosted but for now it can be pieced together). These are for a reinstall of QP Direct without bothering your other partition/s (except maybe resizing if necessary):

1. Back up your system in case of catastrophic failure (always a good first step when jacking around with partitions).

2. Download HPQPDP.rar or HPQPDP.zip, from http://ridickulous.net/quickplay/

3. Extract whichever you downloaded and drop the resulting HPQPDP folder into your <boot drive>:\SwSetup\ folder (mostly for safekeeping purposes).

4. Using PartitionMagic Pro or Disk Management in Windows something else to either shrink your main partition, secondary partition, or whatever. You want to end up with a 1027.6 MB (or 1028 MB) UNALLOCATED area of space at the END of the drive. Go through all the reboots the machine will likely want to make this happen. It can't hurt to verify that the unallocated space is there and unallocated after all this. (NOTE: If Partition Magic keeps giving errors saying "Selected disk contains one or more Partitions which cannot be moved," you have a recovery partition that prevents it from doing what you need it to or drive information has changed. You may have to find another way of resizing your partitions or a reboot might solve the problem.)

5. After creating the unallocated space, assign it the drive letter X: but DO NOT FORMAT IT.

6. Hie thee to the HPQPDP folder and run setup.exe.

7. Wait.

8. Wait some more.

9. Reboot and keep on waiting.

10. Shut down the laptop and hit the Quickplay button. You WILL most likely see a Windows logo, since QP2.3 is Windows-based whereas QP1.x is Linux-based.

11. Enjoy a celebratory glass of single-malt scotch, and pop in or browse to your favorite flick. This step is optional if you are at work and/or not legal drinking age.

La procedura di come fare per installare quickplay l'ho capita, il mio problema è scaricare il programma in formato immagine per creare un cd di boot.
Cmq questa è la procedura in italiano:
Installazione di QuickPlay su una nuova unità disco rigido
Se si desidera eseguire l'installazione di QuickPlay su una nuova unità disco rigido di HP o su un'unità disco rigido esistente, attenersi alla seguente procedura:
Inserire il CD-ROM o il DVD del sistema operativo fornito in dotazione con il computer portatile, quindi riavviare il computer.
Durante l'installazione di Windows, verrà richiesto di creare una partizione sull'unità disco rigido appositamente per l'installazione del sistema. Quando viene visualizzato il messaggio Per creare la nuova partizione, immetterne le dimensioni di seguito e premere INVIO , specificare le dimensioni modificate per la partizione di Windows. In tal modo 240 MB di spazio libero verranno allocati per la partizione di QuickPlay.
Per stabilire le dimensioni da riservare alla partizione di Windows, sottrarre il numero 204 al numero precedentemente consigliato durante l'installazione del sistema. Ad esempio, le dimensioni consigliate per la partizione nel caso di un disco rigido medio di 40 GB saranno pari a circa 39333 MB . Le dimensioni modificate per la partizione di Windows saranno quindi 33129 MB o 39333 MB meno 204 MB .
Attenersi alle istruzioni successivamente visualizzate sullo schermo per completare l'installazione e la configurazione di Windows XP.
Una volta terminato il processo, inserire il CD-ROM o il DVD per il ripristino dei driver e seguire le istruzioni per installare il software e i driver necessari.
Completata l'installazione delle applicazioni e dei driver richiesti per il computer portatile in uso, compreso WinDVD Player, inserire il CD-ROM per l'installazione di QuickPlay.
Riavviare il computer. L'installazione del software QuickPlay verrà avviata automaticamente.
Seguire le istruzioni visualizzate sullo schermo per completare il processo.
Reinstallazione del software QuickPlay
Per reinstallare QuickPlay su un'unità disco rigido esistente, attenersi alla seguente procedura:
Inserire il CD-ROM per l'installazione di QuickPlay nell'apposita unità.
Spegnere e riaccendere il computer portatile.
Al riavvio del sistema, l'installazione del software QuickPlay verrà avviata automaticamente.
Seguire le istruzioni visualizzate sullo schermo per completare il processo.
