[Hd Sata] Si sta per rompere?

Sabato, dopo aver installato debian lenny sul mio nuovo portatile, ho notato una cosa strana. Durante il normale utilizzo, ma la cosa succede anche quando il notebook non è utilizzato, il disco emette uno strano ronzio per alcuni secondi (circa 2/3 secondi). Non è il solito ronzio di quando il disco legge dati ma è diverso (purtroppo non riesco a descriverlo correttamente).
Ho installato il programma smartmontools e l'ho eseguito sia prima che dopo questo ronzio. Questo è ciò che ottengo:

I programmi SMART sono tutt'altro che infallibili.
So che sentire rumori strani dal disco rigido fa gelare il sangue.
Io farei un test con il tool diagnostico rilasciato gratuitamente dalla casa madre.

Non ho la necessità di fare backup in quanto il disco è vuoto. Il portatile me l'hanno consegnato martedì 25. Volevo solo capire se, nel caso mi stia per lasciare, è necessario rivolgermi all'assistenza

se l'assistenza ti cambia il disco solo sulla base di un ronzio e di un listato di Linux (che non ti hanno neanche installato loro), mi mangio la mia tastiera e poi ti posto le foto mentre la addento. :D
il difetto dell'HD deve essere evidente e dimostrabile. chesso' qualche settore danneggiato o un funzionamento con prestazioni inferiori ai dati di targa.

Il problema non è il ronzio, ma il valore della voce Hardware_ECC_Recovered. Non mi sembra normale che sia così elevato e che cambi così frequentemente:mbe: Ieri sera ho dato uno sguardo alle partizioni ed ho notato che si erano crati dei "buchi" prima e dopo quella di windows. Che fosse quello il problema?! Ora ho rimosso tutte le partizioni e sto testando il disco con il tool della seagate. Attendo il verdetto:D

Per ora, i test brevi non hanno restituito nessun errore. In questo momento sto eseguendo un test più approfondito ma il programma è fermo lì già da un bel po':rolleyes: C'è solo il led dell'hd che lampeggia ad intermittenza. Credo che sarà una cosa abbastanza lunga:muro:

Ho da poco finito tutti i test. Per il tool della seagate il disco è integro. Ho reinstallato, quindi, linux e lo strano ronzio (anche se di ronzio non si tratta, in quanto sembra più il rumore della testina) è ricomparso:muro:

Prova a sentire loro e spiega bene il problema...
Questo tipo di ronzio sicuramente non e' normale, potrebbe anche non essere il disco in se' ma il controller SATA (esperienza personale) che fa un tipico sibilo quando sta per partire.

E' esattamente cio' che hanno fatto a me, :) esattamente come hai descritto.
Cambiato HD e scheda madre in base a un ronzio e dei listati di linux e solaris che ho comunicato a loro.

il portatile è di marca santech, che sono famosi x la loro stupenda assistenza, quindi......mi sa che devi comprarti una tastiera nuova e mandarci le foto qua sul forum :D :D

Ho appena finito di parlare con Santech. Secondo loro è un problema di disco e non di controller. Comunque, in un paio di giorni mi fanno avere il nuovo disco:D Speriamo che il problema sia davvero quello!
