[VTU] novità

Novità per chi utilizzava il progetto VTU: da pochi giorni ha riaperto i battenti. Per ricevere WUs però bisogna fare l'attach su di un altro URL. Se si ha ancora il vecchio (http://boinc.vtu.lt/vtuathome/) caricato su Boinc occorre prima fare il detach. Poi eseguire l'attach con l'URL nuovo http://boinc.vgtu.lt/vtuathome/ (attenzione cambia solo una "g"), ovviamente arrivati all'iscrizione bisogna farla come utente già registrato in modo da inserire solo l'email e la pass. Fatto ciò si potranno scaricare le nuove WUs... buona scaccolata a tutti ;)

Il progetto è partito come test per la piattaforma BOINC facendo una ricerca sui numeri primi, ma tutto ciò sta servendo per sviluppare nuovi progetti con finalità COMMERCIALI! Alcuni team come L'Alliance Francophone l'hanno messo nella lista dei non raccomandati per le finalità commerciali del progetto!

I hope people from my university will be fast enough to finish their job. I hope we will not have to wait one more year...

It is a share market analysis project. The portal will be created. Users will be able to upload or automatically post their data files in a specified format. The boinc clients will analyse that data. I dont't know if this will be fully commercial project. It can be that only a certain group of users - those wo will have a lot of data to analyse will be charged. Also it is possible that some contributors will be paid for contributing their resources.

this project will never be commercial also in the future. commercial projects will run on a different servers and will be named diferently...
