Problema con temi ubuntu 7.04 [Archivio]

Ciao ho installato per la gestione degli effetti del desktop i compiz-fusion nessun problema di visualizzazione tutto ok.. se no che non riesco a cambiare tema o meglio mi rimangono sempre le finestre uguali nella parte del titolo blu e sotto grigie, fin'ora ho rovato a cambiare tema sia con il gestore tema che installare emerald ma senza successo..

ragazzi credo di aver fatto un casino..

ho disinstallato il cuore di compiz.. e al riavvio parto oviamente senza effetti, la cosa strana è che mi rimane sempre quel azz di tema e non reisco proprio a cambiarlo.. che comando devo eseguire per disinstallare proprio tutto rimanendo solo con l'instalazione dei driver video? Installare nuovamente xgl può servire a qualcosa?

Ciao ho risolto in parte il prob solo che adesso il compiz fusion non va a perfezione e mi restituisce

Ma come [ possibile che ad ogni installazioone mi dia un errore diverso..

ti restituisce questi errori perke stai facendo un casino madornale...
Linux non è come windows.. ciò che installi ha realmente effetto sul sistema e tutto ha una sua logica ben definita.
Apri synaptics e DISINSTALLA tutto ciò che riguarda compiz, compiz fusion e beryl, compreso emerald manager.

(NOTA:
emerald manager funziona SOLO CON BERYL + xgl / aiglx .

con compiz fusion il suo gestore è COMPIZ MANAGER . )

Quindi Disinstalla tutto e installa dai repository SOLO ED ESCLUSIVAMENTE COMPIZ FUSION.

Dopo di che installa SOLO COMPIZ MANAGER !

mi raccomando solo quello.. se continua a darti errori nel gestore delle finestre è perke hai lasciato qualcosa di vecchio ancora da disinstallare.

In impostazioni preferenze TROVERAI IL GESTORE di compiz fusion con il quale poter abilitare e disabilitare una quantità ENORME di effetti (che ora non stai neanche provando xke senza il manager non li puoi attivare) .. e cambierai il tema.. li puoi scaricare da qui i temi :

adesso ho cancellato tutto da synaptc e reinstallato tutto come in guida solo che prima di installareil manager ho installato il compiz-fusion plugin.. morale adesso sono spariti i bordi alle finestre e il cubo non va..

La cosa strana [ che adesso ho ricancellato tutto con i synaptic e reinstallato seguendo la guida.. i bordi ci sono il cubo non va.. mi da degli errori ma non capisco cosa manca...

ovvio che il cubo non va!! Lo devi abilitare tu, xke non è abilitato per default !!
Devi solo andare su Sistema -> Preferenze -> CompizConfig Setting Manager e da li abiliti il cubo e tutti gli altri effetti che vuoi !!!! ;)

ovvio che il cubo non va!! Lo devi abilitare tu, xke non è abilitato per default !!
Devi solo andare su Sistema -> Preferenze -> CompizConfig Setting Manager e da li abiliti il cubo e tutti gli altri effetti che vuoi !!!! ;)

grazie per la risp... ma ho provato ad attivare il cubo ma rimane sempre una pagina 2d che faccio ruotare.. tuti gli altri effetti vanno.. riflessi..

dll' avvio automatico togli il -v & , basta che scrivi compiz -replace e sei a posto, molto probabilmente il cubo non ti parte per questo motivo
