Devo assemblare un pc secondo voi quale scheda video PCI-EXPRESS posso puntare seguendo i seguenti parametri?
- Non gioco uso il pc per montaggi video
- Deve avere una uscita TV necessariamente

Config: athlon 64 dual core 6000+ 4096 mega di ram ecc

si ma lasciala stare le asus... non sono un granke e costano di più delle alte!!!
opta per una Point of View che la puoi trovare a 150 euro on-line!!! la PoV è uno dei migliori partner Nvidia quindi puoi stare tranquillo!!! :D

allora, da quanto appurato da Guru3d, nelle riproduzioni di video HD le 2600 sono molto più avanti rispetto alle 8600 e non hanno disturbi nelle riproduzioni come quest'ultime.
Per quanto riguarda la riduzione del carico della CPU, con le 8600 stai sui 30-40% mentre con le 2600 nei test ha toccato "punte" anche di 0%

Se non devi giocare ti consiglio la 2600XT nella versione DDR3 o DDR4

** Update - 17th July 2007. Yesterday NVIDIA provided us with internal Beta test-drivers. These drivers open up a can of joy for sure. We quickly put a GeForce 8600 GTS to the test and without a doubt the final score is a near 100 points. The HD Noise reduction however is a little tricky, while it enhances the noise there also seems to be a residual side effect. You can adjust the level of Noise reduction though. But I can tell you that the 8600 series will score a near perfect 100 points in HD-HQV.

Once this driver branch is released to the public I will update the scores and re-do all tests. As a result of these findings I felt the need to alter the conclusion of this article. The two most perfect cards for HD decoding and enhancement will be the Radeon HD 2600 series graphics cards and thanks to the new VP2 core logic the GeForce 8600 series. Both series cards hit the jackpot image quality wise, nice !

giusto. ma si parla di qualità mentre non hanno detto di quanto migliora il carico sulla CPU.

a sto punto sono entrambe due valide soluzioni e spetta a te fare la scelta.
punterei sul bundle tra programmi e cavetteria varia
