[HELP] AsRock AliveNF5-eSata2+ (problemini...)

Salve gente,

passiamo subito al dunque:

1-Spesso accade, avviando il pc freddo (cioè dopo alcune ore che rimane spento), che lo schermo del monitor rimanga nero ed il computer non boota per nulla. Ci sono circa 8-9 bip brevi. Dopo qualche riavvio tramite reset tutto funziona alla grande, tranne quando...

2-All'avvio di windows il mouse rimane bloccato al centro e non risponde il nessun modo ai movimenti. Funziona benissimo la tastiera, tramite la quale riesco a riavviare il pc. Se sono fortunato, tutto torna a funzionare al primo tentativo. Ciò accade sia a PC caldo che freddo.

Le soluzioni tentate sono:

1- Ho riflashato il bios da capo qualche minuto fa e adesso vedremo nelle prossime ore come si comporta. Leggendo come interpretare i bip ho visto come possa corrispondere ad un errore nella flash bios...
Speriamo, aggiornerò dopo circa gli esiti.

2- Ho verificato i cablaggi, tutto ok.
Ho tolto i driver della logitech (ho un kit wireless), ma nulla.
Ho sostituito le batterie del mouse anche se ancora buone le vecchie, senza risolvere nulla.
Ho spostato il ricevitore, nulla.
Ho controllato tutto il cavo che collega il ricevitore al pc, tutto ok.

La mia configurazione è:

-AsRock Alive NF5-eSata2+
-Amd 64 X2 4400+ Brisbane 65nm
-2x V-Data 1024Mb Pc6400
-Seagate 320Gb Sata2
-Nec Master DVD sata
-Lg dvd Ide
-Point Of View Nvidia 8600GT
-Modem 56K Conexant (mi serve per inviare e ricevere fax...)
-Alimentatore Nilox 450W (da Everest i volt sono buoni, solo su 5+ Standby oscilla tra 4,80 e 5,05)
-Attivato AM2 Boost di AsRock che porta il procio a 2,44Ghz senza overvoltarlo.

Che posso controllare? E' un problema di scheda madre o devo puntare il dito sull'alimentatore?

Ho cambiato alimentatore, pensando che sto Nilox non fosse all'altezza, ed ho preso un LC-Power da 550 Watt.

Anche in questo caso nulla di nuovo... Consigli? Nessuno riesce a darmi una mano?

Ok, mi rispondo da solo e posto in reply, magari a qualcuno potrebbe interessare...

Intanto giusto qualche minuto fa ho ricevuto le risposte da Point Of View e ASRock in merito al problema.



Li posto in modo che se dovessero servire a qualcuno, magari possono essere d'aiuto.





Dear Sir,

I tested ASUS 8600GT here, it works fine with this motherboard. The problem you describe does not seem relates to the VGA card.

Maybe you can try the followings for test:

1.Remove all unnecessary devices, leave only CPU, 1 RAM, 1HDD, and 1VGA card on the motherboard.

2.Reinstall the CPU, RAM and VGA card again. (Make sure they are well installed)

3.You may also try to clean the goldenfinger of the RAM and VGA card.

4.Go into BIOS setup and load BIOS default. (Press F9 and then F10 in the BIOS)



And then check if the problems will persist or not.

If problems persist, please try

1. Set “Spread Spectrum” to [Disable] in the BIOS>Advanced>CPU Configuration

2. Set Flexibility Option to [Enable] in the BIOS>Advanced>CPU Configuration.

3. Change other VGA card (or RAM or CPU) for test, if possible.



If problems solved, please put back the removed devices one at one time. (to determine which part cause the problem)



Here is my test configuration for your reference:

AMD Athlon 64X2 4000+ (65nm)

2X 1GB DDRII 800

ASUS 8600GT (VGA BIOS:60.84.31.00.00)

WD 250GB SATA II HDD

Generic IDE DVDROM

BIOS P1.50 with default setting (and manually set RAM to DDRII800)

Delta 450W ATX PSU

Windows XP SP2

Quindi per ASRock è un problema di configurazione generale, con qualche dubbio sull'installazione dei componenti e/o loro perfetta funzionalità

This issue is a compatibility issue , sometimes hardware just will not work perfectly with each other . In the factory graphic cards will be tested with most common mainboards, in our technical department I will test them also with Asus / Foxconn and EVGA mainboards , and when they all give no issue , I am confirmed the card is working well , but there will be always some other mainboards what will not work perfectly with the device



I checked with the factory , the bios of the graphic card cannot be changed so it will work better with the mainboard , the other possibility is to ask Asrock if they have another bios available for you .



The last but not impossible option is to update the graphic drivers , this solve issues as well between several hardware , but only IN windows, your computer is not booting . ‘



When it will all not work , I recommend to change the card for another POV model , like 8600GTS or 8500GT .

Per la Point Of View è invece possibile una incompatibilità generale tra la scheda video e la scheda madre, indicando come possibile soluzione l'upgrade ad altra scheda Point Of View.


Di prove da fare ne ho... Domani sera sarò a casa e dopo aver visto la ragazza, ho un bel impegno...
