HP 6300C: fogli di lunghezza massima di 27,99 cm dall'alimentatore automatico...

Ciao.

Posseggo uno scanner HP 6300C, e mi sono accorto di una cosa: se scannerizzo dei fogli con l'alimentatore automatico (ADF) il foglio A4 non viene acquisito tutto, ma viene scannerizzato solo fino a 27,99 cm di lunghezza.

Esiste un modo per ovviare a questo inconveniente? Ho tentato con vari programmi ma non sono riuscito a risolvere.

Mi rispondo da solo, nel frattempo ho trovato la soluzione su un forum (http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=879185&admit=-682735245+1186055318008+28353475).

The problem is not the ADF, its the hp wia-microdriver. when you are working with the 6300c in wia mode without ADF, you also cannot use the needed length for A4. you are only able, to use a length of 11.5", but for A4 you need 11.7". this is same the reason, that you cannot select the A4 format, when you are working with the ADF.

YOU CAN DO FOLLOWING

- shutdown your machine and change in the protected mode
- open the file "C:\WINDOWS\system32\hpsjmcro.dll" with an hexeditor
- on the position A02 (Dezimal 2562) you will find the hex-value EC2C
- change this hex-value to B42D
- start your machine new and it would work fine

BACKGROUND

EC2C = h2CEC = Dezimal 11500 = 11,5"
B42D = h2DB4 = Dezimal 11700 = 11,7"

Prego, figurati.

Ad ogni modo, a distanza di qualche mese, devo dire che è stato veramente un ottimo acquisto e se qualcuno avesse bisogno di uno scanner con ADF... beh, sicuramente questo. Io l'ho trovato usato su ebay per 40 euro (spedizione, cavi e controller inclusi).

Con un buon programmino di OCR diventa uno spettacolo :D.
