ciaooo...ultimamente ho notato che non mi funziona lo screen saver su windows vista..come mai??tutto è settato giusto....vi ringrazio aniticipatamente:mad: :mad:

Hai per caso cambiato tastiera e mouse ?
Con le microsoft spesso lo screen saver smette di funzionare.

uhm... ma non era "sappile"???? :D ad ogni modo... penso che abbia ragione! a me con tastiera microsoft non funziona... vabbè che non lo uso mai! ma non funziona ugualmente :p

ce l'ho da aprile la tastiera nuova e mouse....sono wirless, ho letto di problemi relativi a tastiere wirless...bisogna cancellare una chiave di registro, ma non ne sono sicuro ;) cmq sapete aiutarmi?

Confermo: Effettivamente le tastiere ed i mouse senza fili possono creare noie sia allo screensaver sia allo spegnimento automatico del monitor. A me si era presentato il tuo medesimo problema quando usavo il set wireless della Microsoft. Ciao!

Ad essere sincero, non sono mai riuscito a venire a capo del problema -che, alla fin dei fini, non è poi così grave-. Non ho mai trovato nè sentito nulla in merito a modifiche del registro di sistema atte a risolverlo , ma ciò non significa che non esistano... ;) Ciao!

Quando è capitato a me, ho contatato il sito Microsoft sia per la parte hardware (tastiera e mouse) e che per parte software.

La soluzione ricevuta è stata la seguente:

Install the update that appears as Optional Hardware Update and has the following title:
Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data Filter
Step 2: Disable conflicting programs:

From previous troubleshooting experience, it is found that programs like Dell Media Experience, Power DVD, ehtray.exe and DVD Launcher can cause the issue similar to the one you are experiencing. To resolve the issue, please disable these programs from running in the background every time you start the computer. Please be informed that when you disable these programs, you are not uninstalling them. You can start these programs by going to Start >> All Programs.
I would also like to inform you about the following applications that are known to interfere with the screensaver.
1. Ehtray.exe.
2. DVDLauncher.exe
3. PDVD Serv (Power DVD)
4. PCM service.
5. Dell Media software.
The Microsoft software is not known to cause issues with the screen saver. This issue with the screen saver occurs due to third party applications running in the startup directory. The startup directory has files that belong to applications that are installed in the computer.
The msconfig startup directory lists the files that are used to launch applications (e.g. like messenger software’s) automatically, when the computer boots. These applications continue running in the background irrespective of the fact that you use them or not. The only benefit that startup group directory provides is that you do not have to manually launch these programs after the computer boots.
The DVD Launcher and the Ehtray application start automatically in your computer and stay in the background even if you do not use them. The issue is with the DVD Launcher program and the Ehtray software. I recommend you uncheck these items in the startup list to resolve the issue.
To disable the above-mentioned programs from loading when Windows starts, please perform the following steps:
1. Click Start
2. Type ‘Msconfig’ (without the quotes) in the Search box and click msconfig in the search result.
3. In the System Configuration Utility, go to the Startup tab.
4. Uncheck ehtray.exe, Dell Media Experience (sometimes listed as pcmservices.exe), DVD launcher, PCMService and PDVD serv if listed.
5. Click on Apply and OK or Close.
6. Restart the computer when prompted.
Set the screen saver to start after 1 minute and check if it works.

Peccato che nessuna soluzione abbia funzionato e sul sito Windows Update non fosse disponibile il download proposto.
Poi mi sono rotto ed ho venduto il kit Microsoft e comprato uno Logitech; tutto funziona a meraviglia :doh:

Sempre che le tastiere Microsoft certificate Vista siano le uniche a non funzionare con Microsoft Vista :muro:
