Borland C++ Compiler 5.5 free e EditPlus: problemi di compilazione.

Ciao, volevo provare a utilizzare il C++ Compiler 5.5 Free della Borland in abbinamento con Edit Plus. Ho installato e configurato il tutto secondo istruzioni, aggiunto il dovuto percorso del compilatore al PATH di sistema....insomma, tutto secondo manuale.
Nella compilazione di programmi console nessun problema, funziona tutto a meraviglia.

Ma se provo a compilare il tipico programma Windows di base, cioè la tipica "finestra vuota" secondo questo codice preso da un sito di tutorial su win32:

....il compilatore mi restituisce questo errore:

Error: Unresolved external '_main' referenced from C:\BORLAND\BCC55\LIB\C0X32.OBJ

Se invece lo compilo con altri compilatori fila tutto liscio e funziona. Perchè? :confused:
Eppure sia il compilatore che Edit Plus sono configurati come da istruzioni.
Qualcuno saprebbe aiutarmi? :muro:
