ciao una cosa stranissima

voelvo chiedervi una cosa ho installato 2 giga di ram oltre ai 750 che avevo però dopo che l'ho installato i 2 giga non me li riconosce, mi vede solo i 750 come mai??

devo fare qualcosa nel software???

ho provato con mem test 86 msa nulla non el vede vede solo el vecchie e fa il test sulle vecchie

ho provatoa toglierle e tenere solo el nuove ma non parte il sistema come mai??

eppure sono dd400 da 1gb samsung non le supporta la p4c800??? mi sembra strano

Hai provato a lasciare solo i due moduli da 1GB?
Dalla pag di Everest si legge il northbridge della mobo (Intel Canterwood i875P)
e dunque supporta il dual-channel delle memorie a 400MHz...

Leggi sul manuale della tua motherboard in quali slot mettere i due moduli (in genere 1-3 oppure 2-4).

Prova a staccare le ram dagli slot 1 e 3 (quelli da 256 e 512) e metti al posto loro i due banchi samsung da 1GB...in pratica dovrai avere:

DIMM1: Samsung etc
DIMM2: niente
DIMM3: Samsung etc
DIMM4: niente

e scarica CPU-Z 1.40...non si installa, lo scompatti in una cartella e lo lanci, nella scheda "Memory" ti dice qanta ram hai e se è in dual-channel.

E' molto semplice e ti da subito parecchie info sul tuo sistema

allora come si vede dall'immagine se vadoa risrse del somp mi da uan cosa se vado dal tuo programma mi da un'altra

se faccio aprtire il comp con le sole 2 ram da 1 gb il computer non parte e poi è in single channel come lo si fa diventare double channel???

Molto strano...e poi non ti mette la ram a 200 ma a 160MHz.
Controlla sul manuale della tua motherboard-> vai nel bios e setta la ram a 200MHz.


se faccio aprtire il comp con le sole 2 ram da 1 gb il computer non parte e poi è in single channel come lo si fa diventare double channel???

Per vedere se i moduli effetivamente non sono difettosi puoi provare alcune strade:

1) le provi su un altro pc

2) le provi singolarmente...cioè metti solo un banco da 1GB alla volta e vai su windows e controlli la frequenza della memoria.

3) (se i banchi singolarmente vanno bene) metti entrambi i banchi da 1GB negli slot 1 e 3 e provi...se ti danno problemi prova a metterli negli slot 2 e
4...controlla la frequenza e se sono in dual channel.

4) Se così hai risolto prova a fare dei test della memoria per sicurezza...
ti consiglio memtest.
