microsoft lifecam 1.1 e windows vista

ciao a tutti!
pochi mesi fa ho acquistato una web cam microsoft e installata nel pc tutto ok.
10 giorni fa ho acquistato un nuovo pc acer con sistema operativo windows vista e......figuriamoci se si installa il programma della web cam!!!
mi dice che programma è compatibile solo con windows xp. come posso fare per installare la web e non doverla praticamente buttare?
grazie a chi mi vorrà aiutare!!

by right-clicking the .exe (executable) file and from the Properties menu, you can direct the program to run in "Windows XP compatibility mode".

ho provato a fare come hai detto: tasto destro sull'exe - proprietà - esegui il programma in compatibilità xp, ma dà lo stesso messaggio di incompatibilità. magari doveva esserci la possibilità di spuntare la compatibilità per vista e forse era risolto tutto...
è assurdo, una web comprata pochi mesi fa e pagata anche non poco - quindi non in svendita - non compatibile per vista, e neanche ci sono soluzioni...

No, there is no option to run the program in “Windows Vista compatibility mode” simply because the program is not compatible with Vista!

Anyway, what are you trying to install, the web cam software or the web cam drivers?

The software may run but the drivers are unlikely.

You could try to run the program selecting ”Run this program as an administrator" under the Privilege Level section.

Have you checked the web cam’s manufacturer website for updates?

dunque, sto cercando di installare il software, praticamente il messaggio me lo da subito appena parte il cd di installazione.
ho provato a mettere il flag su esegui come amministratore come mi hai indicato ma niente da fare.
infine sono andata sul sito microsoft ma ti devo dire che non ci capisco un gran che. mi puoi aiutare magari con un link?
ho una web cam microsoft lifecam con cd software lifecam 1.1 che era incluso nella confezione.
grazie comunque, speriamo di risolvere questo problema, attendo un aiuto.....
