hacking lettore dvd

volevo chiedervi se è pratica sicura l'hacking di lettori dvd, oppure comporta qualche rischio nel funzionamento del lettore stesso

per inciso ho trovato questo:

Instruction to change DVD region code to all code:

1.Press DVD "OPEN/CLOSE" key (RC (remote Control) or main unit) to open the DVD tray (note:if no disc on tray,then you have not to open it);
2.Press RC "SYSTEM" key to enter DVD system setup menu;
3.Press RC "direction "key to hightlight the forth item "PREFERENCE PAGE" (not entering the sub-item );
4.Press RC numeric key sequentially 811502(entery code,no display on TV);
5.Press RC "down direction" or "up direction" key to change REGION CODE,"0" is all code.
6.Press RC "OK" key to confirm.
7.Press RC "SYSTEM" key to exit DVD system setup menu.


visto che ho comprato da amazon dvd che risultano region 1, vorrei poterli vedere anche sul lettore del salotto, ma prima di mettere mano al mio gioiellino volevo sapere se qualcuno di voi ha già provato tale pratica e se ci sono indicazioni

nn penso che qualcuno l'abbia sperimentato ma puoi cercare con internet... io ti consiglio di vedere se é possibile un reset delle impostazioni di fabbrica o del software dvd in modo da provarlo caso mai non funziona lo riporti come nuovo.

bhe quello che cerchi lo vedo abbastanza improbabile anche perché devi trovare qualcuno cha ha il tuo stesso modello di dvd... cmq in bocca al lupo
