Io ho windows vista e quindi vorrei configurare il nuovo programma che sostituisce outlook express - Windows Mail.
Ho attivato poco fa un account di yahoo però dal momento in cui sto configurando la posta con questo nuovo account mi esce questa finestra:

Ho inserito username e password corrette però quando clikko su invia mi esce di nuovo questa finestra.
Cosa dv fare?

Io già l'ho configurato solo che ora mi esce sempre quest avviso nel quale se inserisco nome e password mi riesce sempre quella finestra.

se non erro yahoo, libero e altri provider di mail non permettono la connessione di softaware per scaricare mail.

vanno bene anche stranieri? penso che hotmail dovrebbe andare bene... cmq se usi outlook ci sono dei programmini che ti permettono di aggirare quella protezione :)

In che senso stranieri? hotmail già lo uso per msn. Io non uso outlook uso la versione nuova "windows mail" e preferire non installare nessun programmino.

stranieri in senso provider non italiani... la stessa mail che usi per msn la puoi usare come e-mail in windows mail.

Consigliami qualche provider, anche stranieri vanno bene penso.
Lo so che anche msn lo posso usare in windows mail però preferisco tenerli separati

bhe creati un altro indirizzo mail su hotmail e il gioco é fatto :)
credo che hotmail sia il migliore per windows mail visto che appartiene a microsoft

However, you must utilize Yahoo Plus client not the regular Yahoo client.

ti ha detto che dovresti utilizzare yahoo mail plus che costa 50$
e poi che non dovevi spuntare la casellina non scaricare la posta ora

qui hai alcuni provider di posta elettronica gratuiti per gestire con windows mail devi andare su quelli con la P
Io prima utilizzavo email.it solo che non riusciva ad inviare le email ma riceveva solo. Forse mi sapreste risolvere questo problema?

cosa hai impostato? hai impostato oltre al pop anche l'smpt?
Uffa non ci sto a capire + niente. Ora ho rimesso il provider "EMAIL" e mi è uscita la stessa finestra che usciva con yahoo:

Windows Mail does not support the HTTP:// protocol, which was used by Outlook Express to access Hotmail, Excite, Yahoo, and other web-based e-mail services.

Windows Mail non supporta il protocollo HTTP, che è utilizzato da Outlook Express per accedere a Hotmail, Excite, Yahoo e altre caselle web-mail.
Per quanto riguarda l'opzione "Non scaricare la posta ora", essa deve essere selezionata prima di premere "Fine".

e quale provider dovrei utilizzare per scaricare e inviare la posta? Perchè devo selezionare nn scaricare msg?

But all the mail software don't use the HTTP:// protocol, and i saw a lot italian web site as like alice and libero where there are guide about windows mail configuration the only thing to do is to set the pop3 Port 110 and SMPT port 25, the http protocol use the port 80
raffreee hai per caso un router con firewall? o un firewall? prova ad aprire le porte 25 e 110.

I have never heard of Alice, Libero or "Pasqualino"! They are all irrelevant in the USA. If they can be configured with Windows Mail, eh, it is all OK with me.

gli ho detto che non mi sembrava un problema del protocollo http perché la posta si basa su pop porta 110 e smtp porta 25 mentre il protocollo http va sulla porta 80 e in alice o libero non ci sono particolari settaggio. poi ha postato la pagina che se vai a vedere é in italiano. a quanto sembra i normali servizi di posta nn funzionano con windows mail

hai provato ad aprire le porte del router 25 e 110?
sembra che i normali provider non vadino bene, ma ti servirebbe ad esempio server di posta che usano per fare siti.

Nemmeno msn funziona? Non vorrei modificare le impostazioni del router perchè non sono pratico...

dal sito della microsoft dicono che anche msn e hotmail nn funziona, cmq prova ad aprire le porte, se mastichi un po di inglese su www.portforward.com ci sta scritto passo per passo come fare scegli il tuo router e ci stanno le schermate che ti dicono come fare
Quindi sto windows mail non serve proprio a niente...

in poche parole dice che windows mail é indirizzato a molti problemi sopratutto per la sicurezza, e che lui nn ha problemi ad utilizzare windows mail con un provider AT&T ma paga una quota mensile.
io ho visto in rete che ha un bel po di bug, sinceramente per esperienza eviterei di scaricare la posta sul pc mi scarico solo le mail che mi servono :)
UFF non è possibile che la Microsoft offre servizi sempre più limitati...

benvenuto nel mondo del consumismo... microsoft offre servizi sempre piú limitati per obbligare la propria utenza ormai affezionata a comprare i propri servizi dato che linux e company stanno avanzando molto velocemente sul mercato quindi tentano di tenersi stretti una buona percentuale di utenza in modo da renderli dipendenti da microsoft e quindi pagare anche per servizi basilari :)

It is only a my opinion, I work in an American marketing research company TNS GOBLAL and i know how work this area, we make a marketing research for microsoft and google, And i worked for DECATHLON in the marketing area, so i know how to analize the market and the microsoft's strategy.
Microsoft with the last Operative system improve the kenrell, but i think that something can be qualify on the best effort, there are Other OS better than microsoft USER FRIENDLY and the only thing why they Don't have succes if because the BIG software houses don't developed in other platform different from windows as like games, Of course milion of person have developed Program and OS for free only with for their passion, and now linux is at least the OS better then microsoft imho. You can get the best from your hardware, No virus, no Blu screen, No security problem with linux or mac, where you can have a FULL CONTROL on the OS and change the source code. If you think that microsoft is better, welcome, for me there is no problem, but you can't tell to the other that is wrong to criticize microsoft. At least bill wasn't a real a right guy, and i don't think that every body on this world can pay more than a 1000 euro only for to have the basic software in an house pc. If wasn't for Bill gates today all the Software should be without price, and all will be create with the passion of the person. Every body have a preference and you can't tell to the other that is wrong to criticize microsoft.
