Aggiunto 1GB di ram...ora strano erroraccio Bios...

Ciao a tutti raga...
oggi ho aggiunto un banchetto di Ram da 1 Gb al mio povero pc per farlo rifiatare un pò...
smonto il pc...monto la ram in uno slot libero...rimonto il tutto...
accendo...
ta dàààà....Errore del cavolo...

per avviare il pc devo per forza fare f2 e parte tutto tranquillamente...
C'è un'altra cosa però...quando riaccendo il pc non parte nulla devo spegnere manualmente il pc e riaccenderlo...dopo aver fatto ciò torna ad avviare il bios e a fare quell'errore...

Cosa diavolo è successo???ma è possibile che la cosa più facile da montare deve causare di sti problemi???mannaggia...
aiutatemi voi vi pregooo!!!

P.s.: premetto che fino a prima d'aver montato la ram funzionava tutto benissimo e che inoltre la ram è della stessa frequenza di quella che montavo precedentemente...

ho provato ad entrare nel bios e a ripristinare le impostazioni "load default setting" na cosa del genere e a salvare ed uscire ma niente da fare...
stesso risultato...il pc subito dopo non si avvia...cioè uscendo dal bios è tutto ancora acceso ma non parte nulla!!!lo schermo resta nero e non si sente nessun bip!!!niente di niente!!!

to save the last change that occurred by installing the new RAM. By pressing F2 you have resetted the BIOS to its default settings and now you are in trouble. You should have never pressed F2!

Now, you should remove the last installed memory module a try to reconfigure the BIOS settings the way they were before you pressed that fatal F2 key.

Do you have a BIOS backup? Of course not, or maybe...yes!

if you remove the memory module the PC boots up normally? If yes, then the module is either incompatible with your motheboard, it is not set correctly in the BIOS, or is defective.

Il pc funziona montando singolarmente sia il modulo da 1 GB sia il modulo da 512 mb!!!ma montandoli insieme niente da fare!!!non funzionano insieme ma perchè???sono entrambe della stessa frequenza!!!

la nuova (1 GB) è una Elixir mentre la vecchia (512 MB) è una S3...

Latency. CAS = Collumn Address Strobe. In short, it rappresent the time the RAM take to submit the data requested by the CPU. For example, if the CAS for one module is 3-3-3-8, the CAS for the other module should be the same 3-3-3-8 numbers.

If the CAS is different, the modules may or may not be able to perform together on the same motherboard.

should be on the data sheet included with the module package or at least on the manufacturer website, such as the following:

la nuova ha 3 come valore mentre dalla scheda tecnica che ho trovato on-line della vecchia ram dovrebbe avere 2.5
Quindi cosa posso fare???non le posso usare insieme???

situation, you could try to play around the memory voltage, CAS, and possible the FSB speed settings. However, I would suggest utilizing the 1 GB module and donating the 512 MB to the priest or the Pope!

And, if you really need additional memory, just purchase a second similar 1 GB module and you are set to land on the Moon!
