Salve a tutti.
Ho acquistato un Hard Disk Maxtor IDE e mi sono accorto di avere le porte Ide della mia scheda madre occupate...
Essendo inesperto in materia magari la domanda può rivelarsi banale: esiste un modo, magari qualche cavo o metodo particolare, o trasformatore, che mi facci diventare l'hard disk in modalità SATA?

Direi proprio NO.
Quello che puoi fare comprare un box e usarlo come disco esterno interfaccia USB.

Bah, credo che "convertitore ide-sata" o "adattatore ide-sata" sia più che sufficiente per farsi capire... :)

io ho una necessità simile alla tua e quindi sfrutto questa discussione..!!
esiste un adattatore che mi permetta di collegare un HD IDE ad una porta USB senza utilizzare il box esterno?....in teoria dentro ai box dovrebbe esserci una cosa del genere o sbaglio??

Sì, smontando un box, alla fin fine, c'è un adattatore IDE-USB. Un adattatore tipo questo:

per caso qualcuno conosce qualche catena di negozi in cui posso trovarlo?...non so tipo Mediaworld o qualcosa del genere?..grazie mille!!
