cosa succede se metto su win xp pro sp2 4 gb di ram?
ne vede solo 3?
crashano le applicazioni?

Dipende:
1) se hai WinXP_Pro_64bit nessun problema.

2) se hai WinXP_Pro_32bit e un processore:
IA-32 processors = Intel Pentium, Pentium Pro, Pentium II Xeon, and Pentium III Xeon
installa PAE
Physical Address Extension. PAE is an Intel-provided memory address extension that enables support of up to 64 GB of physical memory for applications running on most 32-bit (IA-32) Intel Pentium Pro and later platforms. Support for PAE is provided under Windows 2000 and 32-bit versions of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003.

Strano articolo, prima dice tutto bene poi dice che se il file boot.ini non e' modificato
con quanto segue

anche il 3°GByte non lo usa quindi si contraddice e non si sa cosa se ne faccia
di un 4°GByte ??

La microsoft non e' chiara al riguardo! :(
