Come da titolo volevo chiedervi se qcn aveva provato questo firewall.
Sto leggendo in giro se trovo review cmq dalle caratteristiche sembra un ottimo firewall,inoltre e' piccolo e gratuito ecco una descrizione:

Lo usavo un paio di anni fa. Poco ingombrante in memoria (circa 5 Kb)e con un'interfaccia molto gradevole. Ha una caratteristica degna di nota: l'"Active Process Protection", che supervisiona le API del sistema operativo affinchè nessun malware possa insinuarsi in un processo attivo (dll injection). Non era però perfetto poichè o per questa sua caratteristica o per altro, spesso occupava le risorse di cpu in modo anomalo. Questo è almeno quello che ho riscontrato sul mio pc ed è per questo che mi sono deciso ad un certo punto di disinstallarlo. Lo sviluppo è purtroppo stato abbandonato.
Già da allora si vociferava di una v.4 imminente. Peccato non sia mai uscita.

Beh, ci mancherebbe che non fosse così..Jetico e soprattutto comodo sono molto più recenti. Jetico è oltretutto sempre stato seguito da release su release, dove ognuna copriva la precedente nelle falle che via via si scoprivano nei vari leaktests. Comodo poi è nato l'altro ieri..Il securepoint è stato il primo firewall gratuito ad implementare certe tecniche avanzate di protezione. Purtroppo è mancato lo sviluppo.

Beh, ci mancherebbe che non fosse così..Jetico e soprattutto comodo sono molto più recenti. Jetico è oltretutto sempre stato seguito da release su release, dove ognuna copriva la precedente nelle falle che via via si scoprivano nei vari leaktests. Comodo poi è nato l'altro ieri..Il securepoint è stato il primo firewall gratuito ad implementare certe tecniche avanzate di protezione. Purtroppo è mancato lo sviluppo.

comunque il 4° posto non glielo toglie nessuno
