View Full Version : Internet instabile e lento - WI-FI ZyXEL 660HW-61 + Intel PRO LAN 2100 3B

Salve a tutti,
Ho un modem wireless ZyXEL 660HW-61 fornito da libero, abbonamento 4Mb e laptop IBM R51 con scheda Intel PRO LAN 2100 3B.
La connessione internet è instabile e lentissima, con gli speed test non supero i 50Kb/100Kb.
Considerate che:
- Il firmware del modem è aggiornato
- I driver della scheda wi-fi sono aggiornati
- Il segnale della rete senza fili è ECCELLENTE
- La condivisione delle cartelle di rete è OK e veloce

...perchè diavolo internet è così lento ? :muro:

a scheda delle 3 intel è la meno performante

cma prova con tcp optimizer

Tempo fa mi feci prestare una chiavetta USB WI-FI per provare al posto della scheda ma non ebbi nessun miglioramento.
Domani provo cmq ad installarlo....

prova.. spesso risolve i problemi di velocità sulle wireless

Ho scaricato TCP Optimizer 2.0.3 da speed guide...è quello che intendevi tu ?
Ho impostato Optimal Settings sulla scheda wi-fi ma non è cambiato nulla, devo customizzarli ?

La cosa strana è che facendo lo speed test la velocità di upload è OK e si avvicina di molto al max di 256 Kbps...

sicuro che non sia il sito di scaricamento ???

ah... cmq è noto che lo zyxel abbia un wireless un po' cosi'....

molti hanno risolto downgradando il firmware

Scusa, non sono sicuro di aver scaricato il SW che intendi tu...che test intendi ? Largest MTU mi dice:

You can set your MTU to 1492

Lo speed test di libero.it rileva il download a 50Kbps...

l'mtu è a 1492 quindi devo dedurre che sei in pppoe ma temo non sia quella la questione
