MSI P965 neo problema periferiche ide!!!

come da titolo raga ho appena fatto un aggiornamenteo del computer cn i pezzi in firma a parte 512 mb di ram !! ho notato (e nn ho potuto farne a meno) che ogni volta che effettuo qualche operazione da masterizzatore(LG) o lettore(LG) il computer rallenta in maniera spaventosa!! anche il cursore del mouse va lento... nn so cosa sia x trasferire 4 gb su hdd da dvd c mette 55-56 minuti!!! x favore ragazzi ditemi come posso risolvere questo problema grazie in anticipo :cry:

ma hai installato i drivers della mobo?

la modalità DMA è abilitata sulle unità ottiche?

il problema sta nei driver del controller Jmicron, aggiornali ed il problema dovrebbe sparire. se non bastasse fai anche l'aggiornamento del bios ;)

After a very long discussion with MSI folks (great support btw), here is the best solution in case of
MSI P965-Neo with 1 x SATA HDD and 1 x PATA CDRW:

1) upgrade your BIOS to v1.6F (download it from here: http://necromanthus.com/docs/MSI-P965-Neo.html )
They told me the v1.6 BIOS is gonna be available in their download section very soon (probably on january 2007).
2) install the v1.17.08 jMicron driver (download it from here: ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/jmb36x/Win2k_xp_Vista/ )
Pay attention: install it in "Standard IDE Driver" mode !

After that, the SATA HDD runs in Ultra DMA Mode 5 and the PATA CDRW runs is Ultra DMA Mode 2.
Your entire system should be very stable.

raga v devo ringraziare tutto liscio come l'olio :D !!! stavo letteralmente impazzendo :mbe: !!!! nn c'è stato bisogno di riaggiornare il bios anche xkè vorrei restare all'1.5 visto che si dice in giro che l'1.6 ha parecchi bug!!
