Provata in vmware, come al solito e' velocissima.
Per ora uso ancora kateos (buonissima distro) poi quando mi stanco metto sotto torchio sicuramente questa vector :D

installata... veloce e completa (anche se essenziale).
anche installandoci KDE la velocità e reattività restano molto alte.

hai qualche link in cui si dice come installare la kde sulla VL 5.8??

non serve :D
avvia gslapt (è tipo un synaptic di debian)

e metti il flag di spunta sui pacchetti che vuoi installare.

basta.

al prossimo login fra le opzioni di DE avrai anche KDE.

facilissimo.


io c'hio aggiunto openoffice e amarok...
il parco software non è amplissimo, ma tutto quello che in genere serve c'è.

poi si può sempre installare quello che serve "alla slackware" ...
oppure aggiungerci Klik ... e da li installare al volo quel che serve.

fatto.

adesso ho kde anche con la 5.8

una piuma questa distro...

su un portatile ho messo in dual boot VL e KANOTIX...è una bella battaglia

effettivamente...
kanotix ha già tutto di suo come software disponibili (repo debian) ... un po' meno performante delle altre due però.
VL permette di settare ogni pacchetto a puntino, però richiede tempo.
vector ha poco software sui repo VL, ma non occorre compilare nulla perchè è tutto veloce...

tienile tutte e tre!!
