Quelli indicati sono per la serie aspire 150x e solo alcuni vanno bene anche per la tua serie. Se indichi dei link li posso aggiungere.

io ho un aspire serie 1510, precisamente il modello 1511Lc, ma non riesco a trovare driver aggiornati almeno per quanto riguarda la skeda video, che è una Geforce4 448Go 64mb, gli ultimi risalgono a 2 anni fa.. mica potresti aiutarmi?

I driver ufficiali nVidia non supportano nativamente i chip mobili. Per utilizzarli occorre fare capo al sito di riferimento: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/
In pratica occorre scaricare il driver originale aggiornato dal sito nVidia, scompattarlo in una cartella, scaricare dal sito che ti ho detto l'apposito file .inf modificato e inserirlo nell'apposita cartella seguendo le istruzioni contenute qui: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=33
Installare regolarmente il driver.
Le istruzioni originali sono queste:

Now that you have decided which driver to install you can proceed to next step - installing them with Modded INF.

Basically it's a 3-step process:
1. Download driver, double click and select extract,
2. Download modded INF and replace original INF in extracted folder,
3. Install & reboot.

When you open a driver thread, you will see several links like IPB ImageDriver | IPB ImageModded INF, which are all you need to install the driver you want. First click Driver link to download the related driver which comes WITHOUT the needed INF file.

For example, if you choose 84.25 driver to install, driver file will be 8425.exe and when extracted it should create another folder named 8425.

Next step is getting the Modded INF and replacing the old one. Click on the Modded INF link to download the file. If file opens instead of downloading go back, right click the link and choose 'Save target as...' or 'Save link as' options. Now it should ask where to download the file. Select the 8425 folder. If you did it right, there should be a file replacement confirmation dialogue. Replace the file and you are now ready to install the driver.

There are 2 ways to install the driver;
Using Setup.exe (if provided): After replacing old INF with Modded INF, just open Setup.exe and hopefully it will install.
Using 'Have Disk' method (recommended): If somehow Setup fails or there is no Setup provided with the driver, you have to use this method to install. You can find very detailed instructions on how to use this method here.

vorrei segnalare che il driver della scheda wifi non funziona sul 1502 lmi (mi dice scheda non rilevata).
Tra l'altro qualche mese fa era stato postato un driver piu' aggiornato (del 2006) per portatili hp (broadcom-wifi-4.40.exe), ma non riesco piu' a trovare il link. Comunque l'avevo installato e non mi era parso cosi' performante. Consiglierei di mantenere il driver originale...
In tutti i forum linux che ho trovato, la scheda minipci Linksys WMP54GS\WPC300N, è considerata il prototipo delle schede basate sul chipset Broadcom BCMX43XX, sicchè, visto che i driver vengono costantemente aggiornati e quelli di Softpedia provengono da lì, suggerirei di prelevarli direttamente dal sito Linksys che propone addirittura l'ultimissimo driver 4.100.15.5 che risolve il problema del grave bug di cui ho parlato nel 3d del 1501. Da qunto ho trovato in giro, quel driver è stato testato con portatili Dell e altre marche e funziona, ma bisogna aggiornare con Aggiorna driver nelle Proprietà della scheda di rete e non installando il pacchetto.

grazie ..
immagino si debba settare qualcosa a livello di gestione periferiche...
noto una certa instabilità del wireless dopo l'installazione
(prima il segnale era quasi sempre eccellente 54g ora va da basso a ottimo)

Aggiunto nuovo link di driver wireless per schede Broadcom. Il secondo link è quello del pacchetto distribuito ufficialmente da Acer. Il primo della versione più aggiornata dei driver disponibile.
Nuovi driver chipset, ethernet e video.
Quanto al driver processore, in assoluto la versione più adatta al nostro mi sembra la 1.2.2.0 e non la 1.3.2.0 (partenza ventolina etc.... se dite la metto online da qualche parte).

Salve oggi mi hanno regalato un 1500,pensavo di poterlo domare ma.....
non sono riuscito a farlo partire con la chiavetta wireles di Alice,ho formattato,installato winxp professional,poi son cominciati i guai,blocchi
improvvisi e spengimenti,riscalda come una caffettiera,inoltre ho attacato un ventilatore vicino alle prese dell'aria,ed è andata meglio,solo l'indirizzo ip
non riesce a trovare nonostante abbia messo il cd autoinstallante e relativa chiave wep,cosa mi consigliate di fare?

E' un computer anziano dotato di un processore Athlon 64 DTR che è una via di mezzo tra fisso e mobile. Sarebbe meglio che facessi un'installazione pulita del sistema operativo e poi in sequenza dei driver più recenti disponibili (tralasciando quelli wireless):
chipset
processore AMD
audio
video
e poi gli altri.
La modalità a basso consumo funziona solo dopo aver installato i driver del processore AMD (con gli ultimi va molto meglio che con quelli originali del sito acer) e aver impostato la voce
Desktop/tasto dx Proprietà/Screensaver/Alimentazione/Combinazioni risparmio energia
su Portatile/Laptop o, meglio, su Gest. Min. risparmio di energia.
