Maxtor ha annunciato, con la seguente press relead, la disponibilità in volumi della nuova serie di Hard Disk EIDE DiamondMax Plus D740X, la prima serie di Hard Disk EIDE con meccanica a 7.200 rpm basata su interfaccia di collegamento Fast Drive Ultra ATA/133.<br>
Oltre a questo, Maxtor ha presentato il nuovo hard disk DiamondMax D540X, basato su interfaccia EIDE e con meccanica a 5.400 rpm, dotato di capcità massima di ben 160 Gbytes, grazie all'adizione di piatti da 40 Gbytes di capacità ciascuno.

Vorrei avere delle informazioni più dettagliate sulle fonti di questa notizia. Sapevo che ATA100 sarebbe stato l'ultimo standart della serie ATA, per poi iniziare con il nuovo standard SATA.
Attendo informazioni da qualcuno. Garazie.
