Salve a tutti. Premetto che ho già installato alsa-base ed alsa-utils via apt-get ma comunque quando avvio alsa-mixer mi restituisce il seguente errore:
alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device
Ecco, qualcuno saprebbe spiegarmi perchè? La sk audio è correttamente installata (a livello fisico), infatti:
nightfly@nightflyclient3:~$ lspci | grep audio
0000:00:0f.0 Multimedia audio controller: Avance Logic Inc. ALS4000 Audio Chipset

hai una debian? alsaconf è nel pacchetto alsa-utils

Si uso la Sarge... cmq lanciato da root va ma purtroppo non mi riconosce la periferica audio installata.

Ho risolto, occorreva installare il pacchetto alsa-modules. See ya.
