Versioni Linux e compatibilità Oracle

Avevo intenzione di provare Oracle su Linux, più precisamente con la versione OpenSuse

Però sul sito Oracle trovo scritto che Oracle Database 10g Express Edition for Linux x86 Available for Debian, Mandriva, Novell, Red Hat and Ubuntu (http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/oracle10g/index.html)

Quindi devo installare una di queste versioni per far girare Oracle? Qualcuno di voi sa se è possibile anche con la versione OpenSuse?

io oracle lo uso solo sulla suse ho sulla redhat

Sicuramente le redhat che sono le uniche certificate da oracle se non ricordo male...cmq:
