Intel ha ufficialmente rilasciato le versioni 5.0 del compilatore C++ per Linux* e del compilatore Fortran per Linux; questi due nuovi strumenti sono stati specificamente pensati epr sfruttare al meglio, in fase di complilazione, le particolari architetture e features delle cpu Intel Pentium IV e Intel Itanium, in ottica professionale.
