View Full Version : Windows update -> Pagina bianca

Da quando ho installato con successo WGA se tento di collegarmi al sito windowsupdate.microsoft.com per verificare se sono disponibili aggiornamenti IE si non carica nulla ma rimane una pagina bianca (vuota).

Avete qualche idea? Grazie.

oggi nemmeno io sono riuscita ad installare il nuovo aggiornamento wga
deve eserci qualche problema
aspettiamo un giorno o due e vediamo che succede

io sono settimane che visualizzo la pagina bianca penso che il problema sia 1 altro sia con firefox & IE

Ho inviato una segnalazione al servizio di assistenza (gratuito) di Microsoft. Dovrebbero rispondermi entro domani... Vediamo che dicono.

In ogni caso ho notato che è possibile accedere al sito windows update richiamando direttamente il link: http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=it

Ciao,

ho appena verificato con IE (possiedo xp pro regolarmente acquistato) e funziona tutto perfettamente. La cronologia mi indica l'ultimo aggiornamento WGA è il KB905474 del 31 Maggio 2006

Anche a me tutto ok su tutti e 3 i pc (licenze regolari ovviamente) e come wgator kb905474

Anche io ho XP PRO (regolarmente acquistato) e nella cronologia visualizzabile solamente richiamando il link diretto (postato sopra) e non tramite "Windows Update" di Win che non funziona ho come ultimo aggiornamento WGA (KB905474) del 01/06/2006

Chissà cosa è successo... Vi farò sapere non appena MS mi risponderà.

Una volta ho avuto un problema simile e lo avevo risolto reinstallando windows installer (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=889482fc-5f56-4a38-b838-de776fd4138c&DisplayLang=it#QuickInfoContainer)

Esegui win update e poi controlli nel menù a sx "Cronologia installazioni"

Ho dato un'occhiata e ho l'ultima versione di windows installer la 3.1.4000.2435 quindi non credo sia necessario effettuare una nuova installazione.

Comunque da un'analisi più approfondita riguardo il mio problema posso dire che quando seleziono "Windows update" dal menù di MS Explorer apre la pagina web che rimane bianca e sembra poi che il browser non riesca ad effettuare il redirect verso http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=it

vale sempre la pena controllare tra i servizi di windows che siano attivati:

- Servizio trasferimento intelligente in background
- aggiornamenti automatici
- registro eventi

Beh anche io avevo l'ultima versione se per questo. Ho risolto reinstallandoci sopra la stessa. A me ha funzionato.

Il problema era causato da un'errata configurazione di IE6. Queste le due possibili soluzioni da parte di Microsoft (io ho risolto con il solo step 1):

Suggestion 1: Reset Internet Explorer settings.
==============================
1. Click Start, Run, type: inetcpl.cpl and press Enter.
2. Select the General tab, and in the Temporary Internet files window, click Delete Cookies, and click OK.
3. In the same tab, click Delete Flies, check the "Delete all offline contents" box and click OK.
4. Click on the "Security" tab. Click on each zone and click the button "Default Level".
5. Click the Advanced tab, and click "Restore Defaults".
6. Under the Advanced tab, uncheck Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restarting).
7. Click to select the Use HTTP 1.1 and the Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections check boxes.

Suggestion 2: Rename the temporary folder of Windows Update.

This behavior may occur if the temporary folder of Windows Update has been corrupted. We can refer to the following steps to rename this folder. Please be assured the folder will be created again when we visit the Windows Update site again.

1. Click Start, Run, type: cmd and press Enter. Please run the following command in the opened window.

net stop WuAuServ

2. Click Start, Run, type: %windir% and press Enter.
3. In the opened folder, rename the folder SoftwareDistribution to SDold.
4. Click Start, Run, type: cmd and press Enter. Please run the following command in the opened window.

net start WuAuServ
