Router Atlantis A02-RA241-W54: problemi

Ho il router in oggetto e ho qualche problema nella configurazione:

Il mio ISP è okcom (di Roma) che mi ha fornito i seguenti parametri:

un indirizzo ip statico : 10.0.249.1 (lo pubblico...tanto è una classe privata)
e una subnetmask: 255.255.255.252
2 dns server
Utente e password

VPI 8 VCI 35
PPPoA
enc: VCMUX

secondo loro questi dati sono sufficienti per poter utilizzare il mio router, ma così non sembra essere.


Ovviamente il led ADSL segnala la presenza della linea.

FAccio presente che non ho nessun problema di connessione con un modem Michelangelo USB (ma che, ovviamente, router non è).

Il router continua a rimanere in stato "connecting" e il log dice:

Hai le impostazioni della linea ? Se si controlla che sia ANNEX A.

Hai l'opzione dimensione celle? Se si metti UNIVERSAL BIT RATE UBR

Annex A era già pre-impostato.

per quanto riguarda la dimensione delle celle...su questo router pare non essere impostabile (non esiste l'opzione).

Quello che mi perplime è il protocollo (considerate che comunque l'ho provati tutti): se faccio la'utoscan esce PPPoA VcMUX

ma se io ho l'Ip statico...in toeria dovrei avere un RFC1483 routed????

mi sono fatto prestare da un amico un router sempre atlantis-land modello A02-RA141.

Ebbene, configurato questo nello stesso modo non ho alcun problema...mentre scrivo sto sono connesso proprio con questo router.

Ma allora da cosa può dipendere??????

per curiosità oggi ho provato l'RA241 utilizzando l'adsl di Tiscali e problemi non ne ha proprio dati....

possibile che la mia connessione adsl abbia bisogno di parametri che sul'RA141 si possono impostare mentre sul RA241 non è possibile?
