Impostare frequenza di aggiornamento del monitor

Su Debian Sid nn riesco a scegliere la frequenza di aggiornamento del monitor.
Su xorg.conf ho impostato le frequenze verticale e orizzontale come da sito del produttore, ma non rieco a i9mpostare la frequenza "totale" a 60hz, come consigliato da samsung, e trocvo solo 75hz.

Come posso fare?
