ciao a tutti!
Ho un problema con i driver synaptics per il mio touchpad sulla mia Slackware 10.2 (2.6.16.9).
Ho installato i driver ma quando provo ad usarli nel xorg.conf mi si inchioda tutto e non parte X... :muro: :muro:
Io seguendo le istruzioni ho aggiunto:

Ma al riavvio si inchioda X.. :doh:
Nel file di log di X non trovo errori o problemi!!
ALLEGO IL FILE DI LOG /var/log/Xorg.0.log..

Ma che touchpad è?

Io sul mio portatile dell non devo fare niente se non spuntare le opzioni opportune nella ricompilazione del kernel.

ops!
Prima avevo letto male il log... :doh:
Infatti c'era il seguente errore:

Query no Synaptics: 6003C8
(EE) Mouse1 no synaptics touchpad detected and no repeater device
(EE) Mouse1 Unable to query/initialize Synaptics hardware.
(EE) PreInit failed for input device "Mouse1"

Ma il driver è lo stesso che avevo installato prima e andava..
Ho aggiunto modprobe evdev a /etc/rc.d/rc.local
e tutto funziona!
