* LILO has no interactive command interface, whereas GRUB does.
* LILO does not support booting from a network, whereas GRUB does.
* LILO stores information regarding the location of the operating systems it can to load physically on the MBR. If you change your LILO config file, you have to rewrite the LILO stage one boot loader to the MBR. Compared with GRUB, this is a much more risky option since a misconfigured MBR could leave the system unbootable. With GRUB, if the configuration file is configured incorrectly, it will simply default to the GRUB command-line interface.

Personalmente ti posso dire che Grub é forse un pelo più difficile all'inizio, ma risulto molto più potente e dinamico.

Ho sempre usato lilo, perché si configura *molto* più in fretta, però se hai tempo, probabilmente bisognerebbe mettere grub, ha notevoli vantaggi.

beh, se nn altro grub ha la possibilità di eseguire una console di rispristino se nn si avvia + il sistema :-O

e poi sinceramente io la difficoltà di grub nn la vedo, o per lo meno nn la ho vista. Sul mio pc avvio regolarmente 3 sistemi operativi diversi tutto da grub, e + o - le righe di boot hanno la stessa fattezza...

io consiglio grub ;)
