Router d-link 504T

Ciao a tutti...volevo chiedere una cosa...premetto che ho un router d-link dsl 504T e ho seri problemi per quanto riguarda far funzionare programmi p2p.Dopo un tot di ore che scarico mi si blocca la connessione e mi tocca di resettare il modem.Qualcuno mi può aiutare!?Grazie :)

Io gli ho messo il firmware versione 2 che si può trovare sull'ftp russo della dlink. Dopo avelo messo il server dns non si impalla più, mentre prima quando c'erano troppe connessioni attive non riuscivo più a risolvere gli indirizzi, anche se il router continuava a funzionare (ad esempio p2p andava seppur rallentato). Non potrai comunque sbizzarrirti con le connessioni, visto che quando diventano troppe non si impalla ma si rallenta lo stesso... ma almeno non bisogna resettare!
Occhio solo quando lo installi a portare il router alle impostazioni di fabbrica: io non l'avevo fatto (istruzioni in cirillico!) e mi s'era corrotto il firmware a causa del flash non completato. Ad ogni modo il file exe del firmware permette di recuperare i router flashati male (basta mettere una spunta) e l'ho recuperato facilmente.

Quel firmware tra le altre cose ti da il supporto alla adsl2/2+. La cosa bella è che sul sito russo c'è il firmware europeo (anzichè russo), mentre sul sito italiano non c'è... anche se in italia la dlink s'è messa a vendere il 524t che è adsl2+, e poichè 1+1 fa 2 si capisce perchè non ce lo danno a noi :mad:

Allora... la procedura è questa:
- resetta il router alle impostazioni di fabbrica
- imposta gli ip staticamente. Se non sai come si fa devi semplicemente disattivare il dhcp (nelle impostazioni del router) e quindi fare proprietà sul tcp/ip della tua scheda di rete e dirgli di prendere l'ip 192.168.1.2 ed usare come gateway 192.168.1.1. La netmask 255.255.255.0
- scarica l'exe dal sito russo (il firmware V2.00B01T01.EU.20050630)
- stacca il router dal telefono ed avvia l'exe
A questo punto devi aspettare un po' che carica il nuovo firmware. A me come avevo detto non è andato a buon fine perchè non l'avevo resettato, e quindi s'è corrotto il firmware. Se dovesse succedere basta spuntare corrupted-image-mode e seguire le istruzioni che ti da il programma (in inglese fortunatamente)

Una volta caricata la versione 2 base, l'altro firmware lo carichi da dentro il router. Cmq ti riporto le istruzioni che stanno sul sito australiano della d-link, che sono in inglese anzichè in cirillico:
How To Load Firmware (ver.2.0 or above) With ADSL2/2+ Support

Please read this document prior to proceeding with the upgrade.

- D-Link Australia does not guarantee that this firmware
is fully compatible with all Internet Providers' ADSL2/2+ DSLAMs.
- Please confirm with your Internet Provider the availability
of ADSL2/2+ services in your area.
- Upgrading the modem/router to the ADSL2/2+ firmware is not
reversible without returning the product to D-Link Australia
RMA Dept. ADSL2/2+ firmware is however backward compatible
with ADSL(1).


UPGRADE STEPS:
- You may have two options with the new firmware:
(A) *PREFERRED OPTION* Firmware upgrade utility ( .EXE) file.
Use this file if your router is not running firmware 2.0
or above at the moment. Follow the steps listed below;
(B) WEB Interface binary ( .BIN) file. This file can be used if your
router already running firmware 2.0 or above. Upgrade can be
carried out through router's WEB interface via Tools > Firmware;

(A)
- Download the EXE firmware file and extract it into any folder on
your computer.
- FACTORY RESET the unit before upgrading.
- Connect the modem/router directly to your computer via network cable
(do not use wireless connection).
- Disable Firewall/Antivirus software on your computer.
- !!!IMPORTANT!!! You must assign a static IP address to your PC
before upgrading the firwmare, otherwise it will corrupt your unit.
Steps: Go to Control Panel > Network Connections > Local Area Connection >
Properties > Internet Protocol TCP/IP > Properties >
IP address: 10.1.1.5,
Subnet Mask 255.0.0.0,
Default Gateway 10.1.1.1.
- Run the firmware upgrade utility.
When prompted, enter the unit's IP address (10.1.1.1)
and username/password (admin/admin).
- Do not turn the unit off while loading firmware.
- After the firmware is loaded check the version under Tools > Firmware.
You can now change your computer back to 'Obtain IP Address Automatically'.
- Reconfigure the router with according to your ISP's requirements.
- Save the settings under Tools > [System] > Save & Reboot.


NOTE: This firmware is only suitable for modems/routers distributed in
Australia. If you bought your router outside Australia or New Zealand
the firmware upgrade may damage your router and void the Warranty.
Come avrai notato loro usano ip diversi, apposta non ho provato il firmware australiano (non vorrei che crei qualche problema). Quello russo cmq è perfettamente compatibile con il nostro router, in quanto come si legge dalla versione del firmware è un EU, e di russo ha solo le istruzioni sull'ftp. Il resto è tutto in inglese ;)

Grazie 1000!!Sono in debito con te di una cena!!
Soltanto una cosa ti devo chiedere...
ho fatto il test dal router..il test è Testing ATM OAM segment ping
e mi dice Fail.Mi dice pure fail nel test Ping Primary Domain Names Server.Non penso sia una cosa bella,vero!?

Non avevo mai provato a fare quel test... ed effettivamente anche il mio fallisce il "Testing ATM OAM segment ping", mentre il dns va bene. Il primo non so cosa sia, per il secondo Home->DNS e te li setti come preferisci

Ho un piccolo problema con sto modem...io uso emule e quando m collego ad un server dopo un tot d ore che andava a palla mi dice così "Your 4662 port is not reachable. Please review your network config." quindi mi tocca staccare il modem e riiniziare tutto da capo...è normale?E' come se va in blocco dopo ore che va!!!
