ATI rilascia una versione aggiornata dei propri driver per schede video della famiglia Radeon; da segnalare alcune migliorie nelle funzionalità AVIVO con contenuti in standard definition

come al solito pensano a migliorare i punteggi ocn il 3d mark invece che a migliorare le prestazioni cn i giochi

* DoVAIO: Running the application on a system containing an ATI Xpress 200M series and running the Japanese version of Windows XP, no longer results in an error message being displayed when exiting the event viewer. Further details on this resolved issue can be found in topic number 737-21986
* EarthSim: Missing textures are no longer noticed on the terrain of both Mars and Earth when running the application on systems containing an ATI Radeon® X1600 or X1600 XT product. Further details on this resolved issue can be found in topic number 737-22076

* Maya 7.0: The Frame Marker located near the bottom of the screen is now displayed when connecting a secondary CRT and enabling extended desktop. Further details on this resolved issue can be found in topic number 737-21777
* Quake 4: The game no longer fails to respond after lying dormant for approximately 10 minutes, followed by switching between the game and notepad.exe. This issue was known to occur when extended desktop was enabled on systems containing an ATI dual display graphic card. Further details on this resolved issue can be found in topic number 737-21993
* Serious Sam SE: Entering the Technology Test mode no longer results in display corruption being noticed in the Reflections and Portals screens. Further details on this resolved issue can be found in topic number 737-22005

* Connecting both a CRT and a TV, followed by enabling extended desktop no longer results in the Underscan/Overscan slider bar overlapping the Screen Position and Size heading found in the TV Properties aspect page of the Catalyst® Control Center. Come al solito ottimi driver, già testati, e su COD 2 con la mia X800 le prestazioni sono aumentate di 4/5 fps....(anche se non segnalati...)

fantastico, migliorato il supporto per linux per le nuove schede x1000 e anche le mobile e in più il supporto anche a xorg6.9/7.0 finalmente

Fantastico era anche ora, stasera provo a installare il tutto sulla mia

ma c'è qualche oscuro motivo per cui le X1600 mobility non compaiono tra le schede supportate tra i catalyst???
ci sono tutte tranne le X1600

Sono un nVidioso di vecchia data, ma il mese scorso ho preso una X1900XTX. Dato che quando installo il CCC il sistema non mi riconosce più la scheda tv ( col risultato di dover reinstallare tutte le volte Power Cinema, rifare la sintonizzazione etc ) è possibile aggiornare il driver senza reinstallare il CCC?

ma a me risultava che la x1900 non fosse ancora supportata, e infatti mi dice che non è in grado di ottenete info dal bios della scheda

Come mai sono due aggiornamenti Catalyst 6.3 e 6.4 che non includono la x1400? Pare che lo fanno apposta....supporta x1300 x1600 etc. ... e io mi domando... ma la x1400 è o non è una skeda da loro prodotta?
