Ciao a tutti, perchè sono costretto a mettere le pagine del mio sito su apache2-default?
Non c'è verso di fargli vedere le pagine su /var/www.

Cosa sto sbagliando secondo voi?

Questo è perchè stai usando il VirtualHost di default del pacchetto Debian.

Se vuoi continuare a fare così e non dover posizionare i files dentro apache2-default, fai così:


cd /etc/apache2/sites-enabled
nano 000-default


poi cerca


RedirectMatch ^/$ /apache2-default/


commentalo e riavvia Apache2 con:


/etc/init.d/apache2 restart

Perfetto, funziona!!!
Avevo pensato già ad una soluzione simile, però non ero sicuro che andasse bene eliminare o modificare quella riga.
