ciao, sto cercando queste due cose:
1- VGA Ati 9250 128mb qualsiasi marca
2- mobo per AthlonXP, assolutamente uno di questi modelli:
MSI Kt3, AsRock K7VT6 o K7Upgrade600, Asus A7N8x-E (sono in ordine di preferenza dalla prima all'ultima)
ho postepay, prezzi ragionevoli...

Ti interesserebbe una ati sapphire 9250 da 256 mb ???? è praticamente nuova (meno di un mese di vita) completa di scatolo disco driver e scontrino regolarmente emesso da una catena di negozio (pc city) al momento dell'acquisto...fai tu il prezzo... è una scheda nuova... spese di spedizione a tuo carico...pagamento poste pay
vengo a spendere troppo per quello che devo fare... credo che mi basti anche una 9200...
up! va bene anche una 9200!

tra le mobo che hai selezionato,ho visto che ci sono quelle col chip Kt600..una gigabyte retail con quel chipset andrebbe bene lo stesso?nel caso guarda nella mia sign tra la roba che vendo,ce n'è una così!
ho bisogno di una scheda madre che supporti l'audio sotto dos; quelle che ho messo so che lo fanno, con una a7v600-x per esempio pur avendo lo stesso chip non sono riuscito a tirare fuori nulla. percui se hai una soundblaster pci128 e hai tempo per provare ;)

If you plan on using MS-DOS 7.0 (Windows 95,98 or ME) you will need to do a full install of Windows 95/98/ME*
Next, edit the file C:\MSDOS.SYS and change the options below to prevent the Windows boot logo and stop Windows from completely loading, giving you MS-DOS 7.0
You will have to remove the READ ONLY and SYSTEM attributes from C:\MSDOS.SYS first. Next, edit MSDOS.SYS with your favorite text editor (NOTEPAD or EDIT) and add or change the following options;

Next, make a C:\TEMP directory by typing md c:\temp

Some soundcard drivers also require EMM386

One of the most troublesome steps in getting your mame setup to work correctly in dos is setting up the sound card
Most if not all soundcards on the market are billed as "Soundblaster Compatible" which really means Soundblaster Pro compatible
If you plan to run MAME in pure dos you will most likely have to run the DOS initialisation application which comes with your soundcard drivers. This allows DOS to hook into the soundcards interrupt.
Some PCI soundcards, like the Pine CS4281 card do not have a DOS installation program. Instead, the drivers are installed via Windows. The DOS drivers are then installed and can be copied to your DOS configuration.
Common Settings;
All sound cards will need the following line in the AUTOEXEC.BAT. This variable "shows" the DOS application (MAME) how the soundcard is configured.
AUTOEXEC.BAT:
SET BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T4
A220 is the I/O Port address
I5 is the IRQ or Interrupt number
D1 is the DMA IRQ number
T4 is the Soundblaster type (or emulation mode)
Some soundcard drivers also require EMM386
If EMM386 is required for your DOS soundcard drivers and assuming you are using MS-DOS 7.0, add the following line to your C:\CONFIG.SYS
device=c:\windows\himem.sys
device=c:\windows\emm386.exe noems
If your lucky enough like me to have an old ISA Soundblaster card and a spare ISA slot, you shouldn't experience any problems setting up your card, however...
Most sound cards manufactured today are PCI and you will have to read you soundcards documentation to install it in dos mode (if the dos drivers exists)
A more common PCI card in use today is based on an ES1370/1371 chipset, this includes the Soundblaster PCI range and seems to work well once its configured correctly

IO HO UN AASROCK K7 UPGRADE 600 IN VERSIONE BULK CN DRIVER CD E MANUALE
NON KIEDERMI NULLA XKE NN L HO MAI USATA dato ke non ho trovato un buon procio socket A :p
te la posso dare x 30 euro +ss

ho risolto tramite ebay anche per la mobo!
scusa gromit60 ma ho preferito risparmiare un po' di tempo e andare sul sicuro.
