help!formattazione

Salve,
ho un dubbio:
devo formattare il pc xkè ne ha bisogno,ma dall'ultima formattazione,ho installato un secondo HD nel quale v sono filmati,musica,e documenti.
Ora dovendo formattare,non vorrei ke anke questi vengano cancellati.

la domanda è las eguente:
qnd inserisco il cd d windows,ed eseguo la formattazione e il successivo install,esso cancella solo il contenuto del HD sul quale è installato l'Os oppure cancella anke l'altro Hd?

magari hod ettod elle sciokkezze,ma è un dubbio e vorrei il vostro aiuto,

l' utility di windows formatta solo il disco che gli dici di formattare .
comunque siccome e possibile sbagliare , ti conviene collegare al pc il secondo disco con i dati e musica , solo dopo avere installato sul disco c:\ windows .
quindi prima installi windows xp e poi colleghi il secondo disco al pc .

is partitioned in two or three or more partition, you can reformat ONLY the partition you intend to reinstall the Operating System, the other partitions on the same disk, will not be affected. By partition, a volume is intended.

As for your second hard drive, it is unnecessary to remove it or disconnect it in the case.

Thank you but, my HD is not partitioned,maybe after this operation i could do it,because i want install another operative system like Linux,or like Windows vista(i want just try).

well i will not disconnect my second HD
