sulle immagini grafiche?

Mi spiego meglio.
Esiste un programma che restituisca come output testuale i dati (h*w*B) di un'immagine (bmp, jpg, gif)?

Provo a spiegarmi meglio: qualsiasi browser di immagini mi fornisce velocemente i dati di dimensione. Come li trova? Esiste un programma che li restituisce in forma testuale?
