problema con periferiche di massa

Ciao ragazzi,
Ho un problema con XP sorto da poco (almeno credo). In pratica quando collego una periferica di massa ad una porta usb tipo una chiave di memoria oppure la macchina fotografica tutto sembra ok...ma quando scollego il dispositivo il sistema mi si riavia bruscamente. al riavvio un messaggio mi dice che il sistema è stato ripristinato a seguito di un grave errore. Ho provato a ripristinare una configurazione di qualche tempo fa ma niente non va! :(
C'è qualche buona anima che può aiutarmi?

Il problema è strano, fais empre la rimozione sicura dei discpositivi, utilizzando l'icona in basso a destra?

Ho provato anche con la rimozione sicura...si riavvia senza nemmeno togliere fisicamente la periferica. forse si è "sputtanato" qualche file di sistema che controlla la cache.

Che service pack hai (se lo hai)? Giusto oggi su un forum della corsair sulle pen drive leggevo di alcuni problemi con le porte usb e win xp che si risolvono aggiornando il sp. x caso da gestione periferiche hai nella sezione periferiche con problemi la voce Universal serial bus (USB)?

Ho Il service pack 2 ma fino a poco tempo fa tutto funzionava bene ripeto...il chipset è il via km400 e ho tutti i driver aggiornati.

aggiungo....nella getione periferiche tutto mi dice..la periferica funziona correttamente :muro:
