Come si sistema il tutto per installazione

ieri sera ho fatto tutti gli aggiornamenti consigliati karnel alcune librerie gcc ma nulla :cry:

Sembra non poter accedere ad un lock, perchè cell'ha già X.
Ovviamente tu installi in modalità testuale, come cè scritto nel readme, vero? Se mentre provi ad eseguire il programma di installazione già c'è un serverX attivo, allora probabilmente fallisce per questo.

Cmq, su una console di root fai telinit 3
Passerai al runlevel 3, chiudendo definitivamente il server X.
Poi, da console, installatelo (ovviamente, sempre come root), e alla fine fai partire il serverX con startx.

A me funziona, l'ho installato milioni di volte, con FC3 e FC4....

non so non sono tanto esperto ho scaricato anche una decina di rpm inutilmente

sembra come se mancesse qualche installazione

Ha installato qualcosa ma la mia scheda video non c'è mi ha detto alla fine di aggiornare XF86Config ma come

Allora ho installato i driver

la kde funziona bene mentre la gnome no come posso fare a sistemare le cose

le barre formattate a 800x600
sfondo formattato a 1024x800
