sostituzione cpu

scusate la mia ignoranza
se volessi sostituire il processore, come faccio a capire se la scheda madre lo sopporta?
esempio pentium IV 2.6 ghz fsb 800 con mb msi 845pro2
dati della scheda:

Direi che non lo supporta.
La tua mobo supporta solo CPU P4 FSB 400.
Escusi quindi sia i P4 FSB 533 che 800.

Teoricamente andrebbe ma appunto con bus a 100.
Ovvero con una frequenza di 1300 100x13 e non 2600 200x13.

anche se a dire il vero non mi è molto chiaro l'esempio del 100x13 e 200x13
sui dati della scheda leggo:
support fsb 100mhz
support fsb 400mhz intel netburst ecc.
che c'entra il tuo esempio?

al massimo ci potresti montare un vecchio P4 con fsb 100 (bus a 400mhz) da prendere usato...

in ogni caso saresti molto limitato perchè la tua mobo ha le vecchie ram pc133 che sono penalizzanti...
