Techdemo, the first to come ! .October 5th
Today, we got two points to tell you about.
The first one, you would have guess it by now, if this famous surprise we told you about in our last update. Now the mystery is gone, this is no piece of video but a playable techdemo as well, available here !
At last you'll be able to walk in a small map from the world of INC !
Thought, don't expect a revolution – that wasn't our goal . It is, as far as we are concerned, the achieved result of what we learned about the Reality Engine, and this demo isn't a technical masterpiece nor a pompous picture from the INC universe, but an excellent tool for us, to know about the software and how it is going on one's computers...
It's your turn now, please give us your opinion, your expectations, the bugs you saw !
This 1.0 version will be followed by many more to come, more complete each time. So, the true INC demo will be the first episode's beta release.
Which allows me to tell you about the second subject we have to discuss. With this techdemo release, INC is now beginning the first episode's official production. To be able to do so, we are willing to look for people to fill a few key positions... Two concept artists, a game designer and a level designer as well.

Know bugs:
* some physical object can pass trough wall or ground
* some sound don't play (physical impact,...)
* activated HDR Tone Mapping can turn to black
To do:
* weapon fire centered on the crosshair
* add real projected shadow (now just drop shadow)
* add some other models
* add some effect with telekinisy hand
* shader 3.0
* bigger techdemo map (district of city)
Informations:
* All lighting is in real time, nothing is precalculated
* Realty Engine is multithreaded, so with a multi CPU system you will have better performance
* All shader are for version 2.0, no better performance with 3.0, only add HDR
* This TechDemo is the medium pack of our textures (500-600MB in mermory), we will give the high pack later (1.5-2Go in memory)
