Un aiuto per aggiornamento Firmware

Ciao a tutti,possiedo un masterizzatore DVD Lg GSA-4082B,ho comprato di recente una copia di Fear ma una volta installato non mi riconosce il dvd originale;leggendo i suggerimenti per la risoluzione del problema sul sito del gioco,fra le altre cose,c'è anche l'aggiornamento del firmware del lettore DVD.
Ora,sul sito LG non c'è traccia di firmware per questo modello,però ho trovato questa pagina dove ce ne sono di aggiornati:

Io ora monto quello originale,l'A201.

Tutto ok fino a qui,solo che non ho mai flashato un firmware di un dvd rom,e quindi mi servirebbe un'aiuto per scegliere la versione corretta,sia per sapere la procedura giusta per fare il flash.

Mi potete dare una mano?

Update:nella versione dos del firmaware ho trovato le istruzioni per il flash (non c'erano invece nella versione windows che avevo scaricato);ora so come flashare,ma il dubbio rimane su quale versione scegliere c'è una chiamata RPC1 e una RPC2.
Vista la mia scarsa conoscenza dell'inglese,mi affido a voi,ecco cosa dice il readme al riguardo:

An RPC1 firmware defeats the internal counters within the drive and
removes region enforcement. This only is HALF of the equation. You
need to use DVD Genie or similar software to control your player

An Auto Reset firmware is an RPC2 firmware where the counters and region
selection are stored in RAM and not committed to flash. Every time you
power up your system or reboot, the counters and region will reset to
state immediately before it was flashed. Your player software or
operating system will prompt you to select a region whenever a disc from
a different region is inserted. If you use discs from multiple regions
this should not come as a surprise, but if you always use discs from the
same region you will see it every time you restart the drive. It resets
itself, if you don't understand this then you probably don't need to use
this firmware.
