- Under Firefox, go to the 'Bookmarks' menu.
- Select 'Manage Bookmarks'
- In the Bookmarks Manager window, click on the 'File' menu.
- Select 'Export...'
- Save the bookmarks file to your desktop, or somewhere you can easily find it.
- Close the Bookmarks Manager window (and exit Firefox, if you wish).

- Under Internet Explorer, go to the 'File' menu.
- Select 'Import and Export...'
- Click on 'Next' in the Import/Export wizard dialogue box that pops up.
- Check that the 'Import Favorites' option is selected in the list.
- Click 'Next'.
- Check that the 'Import from a File or Address' option is selected.
- Click on the 'Browse...' button, and search for the bookmarks file you saved to your desktop, or wherever you saved it from Firefox.
- Once you've found the file, select it, and click 'Save'.
- That small window should close, and the path to the bookmarks file you are going to import should show in the white field under the selected option. Now click 'Next'.
- Select the 'Favorites' folder, (if it isn't already selected), as the destination directory to import the bookmarks, then click 'Next'.
- Click 'Finish' to import the bookmarks.
