Pioneer DVR-212D/D-BK

Sono da pochi giorni possessore di questo masterizzatore, le info sono molto scarse, per cui ho deciso di aprire questo "Thread Ufficiale" visto che non ce ne sono.
Premetto che è il mio primo Thread Ufficiale, ed anche il mio primo Pioneer, per cui perdonatemi se non sono un redattore degno di merito.

Buffer under-run protection for CD/DVD

FATE ATTENZIONE PRIMA DI AGGIORNARE IL FIRMWARE!!!:
Pare che su questo drive non sia possibile fare un "Downgrade" del firmware. Ciò vuol dire che se flashate il Bios con un Fw + recente NON potrete tornare indietro!
Cioè non potrete + ripristinare il firmware che avevate precedentemente!!!
Per cui vi consiglio di fare ricerca prima di tuffarvi nell'ultimo Flash, per valutare se vale la pena o meno.

Spero aver fatto cosa gradita. Confido nel vostro aiuto per tenere aggiornato il thread.

F.A.Q.
Ecco una serie di domande molto frequenti per questo masterizzatore:

Domanda:che differenza passa tra il modello 212D ed il modello 212D-BK?
Risposta: Nessuna, cambia soltanto il colore che nel modello BK è Nero (BK sta per BlacK). Esiste anche in versione SV che sta per Silver (Argentato).

Domanda:Essendo una periferica Sata, và meglio di un modello Eide?
Risposta: Assolutamente NO!! il solo vantaggio è quello di far definitivamente sparire gli orrendi cavi a 40 fili, ma nessun drive oggi sfrutterà mai la piena velocità SataI/II rispettivamente 1.5 & 3 Gb/sec.
Diversamente dovremmo poter masterizzare ad una velocità di 98X circa....magari!!

Domanda: E' possibile impostare il BitSetting sui +R da 4.5Gb con firmware originale?
Risposta: al momento che mi risulti NO
