Hello,

I have a DGND4000, running amod 3.0.9, and I am trying to setup an iptables script to route certain sites...

I have done this in the /etc/amod/conf/wan.user

*GUID is a secret code

This does not work.

I have tested the individual commands via telnet, but it fails when I try to "restart_dns".

If I remove the "restart_dns" line and it still fails.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can't you pass your desired hostfile to dnsmasq? AMOD is not based on WRT firmwares, is a amodded netgear firmware.

To restart dnsmasq you can use this code:

killall -q -SIGHUP /usr/etc/amod/init.d/dns || {
    echo "dnsmasq not running...${NC}"
   /usr/etc/amod/init.d/dns start
}
