Con i dirver aggiornati la scheda gigabit marvell va decisamente meglio, il transfer rate max misurato con Sisoft Sandra LAn Bandwidth Benchmark č passato da 19MB/s a 26-27MB/s.
ho anche provato a inserire nel registro di sistema queste stringhe con suggerito su pcstats.com:
most of the time when we are transferring large files over a LAN the network will never reach maximum theoretical throughput speed. Luckily for us, adding two DWORD value strings can sometimes greatly improve network data transfer performance! First load up regedit (Start -> Run -> regedit -> Ok) then follow this path. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> Lanmanworkstation -> parameters. Now create (or modify) the MaxCmds and MaxThreads DWORD value strings. You can give it any value between 0 and 255, it's up to you to experiment to see what works best for your network. For my home network I find that giving it a value of 155 on all computers boost network throughput a bit.
si guadagnano altri 2MB/s e si arriva sui 29MB/s max 30MB/s.
Non male...per un chip marvell che usa il bus pci e non č integrato nel chipset nf3.
Venendo proprio alla Lan integrata nel chipset NF3.... dopo innumerevoli blocchi di sistema....schermate blu....etc. etc... ho disinstallato il Firewall di Nvidia... era una bella funzionalitą ... mi piaceva molto, ma rendeva il sistema estremamente instabile.
Spero che qualcuno che ha la mia stessa mobo intervenga in questo thread per uno scambio di opinioni e consigli.
