Mandare in palla il Memtest non è un bel segnale, vero?
Ho masterizzato Memtest86 5.01 su un CD e fatto andare. Tutti i banchi montati.
Il primo test, quello monocore, è andato bene. Ci ha messo 1 ora e 20 minuti circa, ma 0 errori.
Ho riprovato con quello multicore. Va molto più veloce, ma arrivato al test 8 (pattern inversione 32 bit, mi pare) resta lì all'infinito. Non dà errore, non si ferma: rimane lì ciclicamente a ripetere il test senza andare avanti. Le barre di progresso segnano entrambe 100%, ma lui non si schioda da lì finché non lo faccio uscire con ESC. Chevvordì?
Ah, ho scaricato con il visualizzatore eventi e trovato l'ultimo arresto, segnalato come critico (per me è tutto arabo):
