per chi ha una licenza prevx attiva occorre pazientare, il passaggio non è automatico essendo prodotto nuovo e proprietario nuovo, vanno fatti degli aggiustamenti. Comunque Prevx 3 continua ad essere supportato pienamente in questa fase
Ecco il loro chiarimento li ho preso da alcuni post sparsi su wilders ma mi sembra buono radunarli tutti qui e fare un riassunto:
We have a fair amount of work on our end to be able to transition license keys over from Prevx 3.0 to SecureAnywhere. We should be offering support for this
in the next couple months but at the moment, the products are still purchased/used separately. One thing to keep in mind is that Prevx 3.0 and WSA don't co-exist so for the time being, you're probably going to need to choose one or the other.

Please don't jump to conclusions with this.
We're looking to get this resolved as quickly as possible. I don't have an ETA on it yet but it is our #1 concern at the moment as it obviously affects all current Prevx customers. Prevx 3.0 is still being supported and can be used/bought/renewed as it has been.
Current Prevx 3.0 users will be upgraded to WSA soon but there is a lot of backend work to be done to support it. Not only does WSA use an entirely different architecture from Prevx 3.0 in the backend, it is 100% new code which has only very recently left the beta phase.
As this is brand new software, we're being cautious with the upgrade process but as soon as everything is ready and the eCommerce system can support the upgrade,
we will be giving everyone the exact instructions on how to make this transition.
Sorry for the inconvenience but this will be happening as quickly as possible - it just needs to happen carefully and methodically from our end.
Sembra inoltre che passerete in modo automatico ad avere la Essentials (qualche post sopra ho messo un link con le caratteristiche) informazione non sicurissima ma diciamo probabile al 99%
We will be allowing transitions to WSA from 2011 but this process isn't 100% implemented yet. Over the next few weeks, you'll see this fully functioning and
you should be upgraded to the equivalent Essentials from WSA.
Relativamente alla
versione free o per FB riporto il pensiero di Joe che è il mentore di prevx e di questa WSA:
I haven't heard anything final with the Identity Shield-only version yet but
we are planning a free scan version and I suspect the
Facebook protection would be in the same category. I'll let everyone know as soon as I hear something definitive on this.
Riducendo all'essenziale:
- La versione free (solo realtime e scansione, no rimozione) dovrebbe essere fatta, sui tempi non si sa ma penso che se la trial dura 30gg allora finita la stessa in qualche modo sia bello avere la versione free sul pc, a mio avviso tra un mese esce la free e chi ha la versione di prova passa a questa che è del tutto simile a prevx3 free antico
- La beta per chi la sta usando per ora continua a funzionare, e corrisponde alla versione Essential tra quelle disponibili (anche se penso differentemente da quella pagata non sia estendibile ad altri 2 pc oltre a quello che abbiamo usato per il test)
- Per chi ha una licenza di prevx occorre attendere un paio di mesi o meno, il tempo di rendere sicura e facile la transazione tra 2 prodotti completamente diversi non nelle funzioni ma nei codici in cui sono scritti. Occorre pazientare ma hanno anche loro necessità di passare il prima possibile su una sola piattaforma perchè gestirne 2 costa, quindi non temete faranno il prima possibile.
- Chi ha prevx a pagamento passerà alla versione Essential di WSA (personalmente penso magari limitata ad una sola licenza e non 3 come quella venduta ora, ovvio se ha più licenze si adeguano al numero di licenze possedute). Qui le caratteristiche e moduli delle varie versioni
