"In 3Dmark Vantage, the Phenom II X4 940 (Deneb) running on ASRock AOD790GX/128M with 2GB DDR2-1066 scored P7240. On a core i7 system, the same HD 4850 scored P7766 while on a Intel P45 board ASRock P45XE-WiFiN with QX9770, it scored 7112. Looks like the Phenom II X4 940 (3GHz) is able to outperform the QX9770 in this test whereas Intel Core i7 still outperform the Phenom II X4 3GHz by over 9%.
Would you pay a few times more for a Intel Core i7 system versus a AMD Phenom II based system?"
