prova questo:
This is what I figured out about that J1 white connecter after lookin over this thread again
Quote:
supposedly J1 pinouts are :-
1 - Analog Ground
2 - Analog Headphone Out Left
3 - Audio Backpanel Mute -- short to ground to mute the backpanel (when headphones are plugged in)
4 - Analog Headphone Out Right
5 - same as #3
6 - Mic input from front panel
7 - key pin (shouldn't be there)
8 - VREF out -- voltage reference for Mic
9 - MIC IN MUTE -- ground when mic isn't plugged in, +12VDC when mic is plugged in
10 - Audio cable detect -- will be ground when headphones are plugged in (not normally used)
with that diagram I compaired it to my sound card and made this image so i make sure im doing this right;
EDIT:
I tried the first picture, and it seemed to work, the audio worked in my headphones through the front panel, but I couldn't hear my front speakers any more, even messing with the speaker settings, headphones, 4.1, they didnt play. Then my computer turned it's self off at a random time, bout 5 minutes of being on with the panel plugged into my card. dunno what happened,
could have been due to i had to remove the wires from my case out of their black plastic pin holders and put the wires into a connecter made for the J1 pinout, might of not got them in all the way on the card or some thing. Design flaw of my case.
Now my speaker setup program seems to be crashing every time I open it..
EDIT2:
deleted 2nd image, i made sure the pins were in the connector all the way, but now i get no sound through my speakers with out my headphones plugged into my case.. interesting, doesnt really annoy me so i guess ill leave it like that
any way thanks guys, looks like its working through my case's panel now!
